One of the most recents and best pieces of comedy I have seen is Wild ‘n Out, hosted by Nick Cannon. In many parts of the show, there are segments in which people have to come up with punchlines and fire back at others on the spot, meaning having no time to think about and truly process of what exactly they want to say. In one part of the show there is a segment called, “Freestyle”, where two teams fire jokes at one another on the spot and to the beat of the music, and in the end the team with the most points wins. By needing to use improv to come up with humorous jokes at one's career, appearance, success etc on the spot, their speech has no revision. For example, Nick Cannon made fun of Pete Davidson on Saturday Night Live(SNL) and called the show “Saturday Night Die”. As a response, Pete Davidson, fires back that Nick was the hottest star only back in 2004.
